Linda Brinson recently published “How the American Alpine Club Works” in the Adventure section of HowStuffWorks.com. HowStuffWorks, a subsidiary of Discovery Communications, is an award-winning source of credible, unbiased, and easy-to-understand explanations of how the world actually works. Founded in 1998, the website currently serves millions of people of all ages providing information on a wide array of topics.
Brinson’s article describes the history and current state of the American Alpine Club, including club goals, publications and a community of over 9,000 members. The article provides instructions and membership fee information for joining the AAC.
