Lloyd Bolton ($500), Lloyd and his partner Steve Gore are newly commissioned Marines, and their climbing dream is to complete the Grand Traverse in the Tetons before their future deployment. The American Alpine Club is proud to support these men who support us all through their service.

Jay Hack ($300),Jay Hack, and his partner Mike Layton, hope to do a one day climb of El Cap in Yosemite National Park. This will require them to learn speed climbing skills and to advance their climbing abilities.

Amy VanProoyen ($200), Amy's climbing Dream is to travel to a state where she has never climbed before, advance her skills, and complete her first multi-pitch Trad climb, Ewephoria in Cochise Stronghold near Tombstone, AZ.

Michael Tyron ($200), Michael, a climber who learned on the crags of Michigan is heading to Yosemite to do his first Big Wall, the Prow of Washington Column. The AAC is pleased to help him fulfill this goal.

Allen Zeitlin ($300), Allen is heading to Joshua Tree where he wants to develop the skills - placing protection, building anchors and self rescue - needed to safely lead Trad climbs.

Reggie Walters ($100), Reggie seeks support for a project he's talked about for years, a trip to the famed Cirque of the Towers in the Wind River Range in Wyoming. He'll be on his way this summer.

Evan Ward ($200), Evan's Dream is to climb the Incredible Hulk in the High Sierra via either the ‘Red Dihedral’ or ‘Positive Vibrations, a classic line in a beautiful alpine environment.

Marissa Krupa ($200), Marissa wants to climb Mt Shasta and Mt. Baker this season to honor her brother, an avid mountaineer, who passed away from cancer.
