Join AAC members Keith Nangle and Brigitte Weston on Saturday, November 14, for our Fifth Annual AAC Get-together, held in their home at 7420 Heartland Drive, Wake Forest (near the intersection of NC-50 and NC-98). As always, plan to include spouses, significant others, special just friends, and climbing partners. Non-members are welcome.

The festivities will begin at 6 PM, and will include music, climbing videos and member presentations. The featured presentation of the evening will be local member Chip Popoviciu's account of his 2008 ascent of Mt. Everest.

A buffet-style, carnivorous and/or vegetarian dinner will be provided, and is guaranteed to be the stuff of legend.  There will be no charge for the dinner, drinks or entertainment. However, we suggest that you consider making a donation to Central Asia Institute (https://www.ikat.org/). Cash donations will be collected at the event or you may donate at the institute's web site. Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. However, if so inclined, you may bring your own beverages to meet special requirements for specific vintages or exotic labels.
