- 2nd Anniversary Of The Museum Celebration - Golden
Feb 19, 2010Come celebrate the second anniversary of the Bradford Washburn Museum!
The museum will come alive with volunteers and actors from Miners Alley Playhouse playing the parts of some of the Mountaineers in our exhibits (Pete Schoening, Whittaker, Ellingwood, etc). Bring the kids. We will also be recognizing the donors who made the museum possible by unveiling our donor plaque.
There will be live music as well as appetizers and drinks ($2).

Deep South - May 1, 2010Deep South Section Chair Chad Hagan is organizing a local Wilderness First Aid class with Ascent Adventure Consultants. Wilderness First Aid is a good basic course in backcountry emergency response for almost any location. This 16 hour course is for those who work, live or play in remote areas – away from the usual EMS service. Jun 24, 2010 - Grand Teton Climbers' Ranch, Jackson, WYThe AAC will host a delegation of ACI members at the Grand Teton Climbers' Ranch from June 24 to July 4, 2010. The Alpine Club of Iran plans to reciprocate in late September, 2010, by hosting a delegation of ten members of the AAC in Iran. While the focus of the exchanges will be climbing, the delegations will also engage in discussion of alpine conservation issues and programs.
